Vera Wang opens first shop in shop in Australia
Vera Wang announces the opening of her first shop in shop in Australia at Helen Rodrigues on Sydney’s renowned North Shore. The acclaimed designer, recognised as the authority for a modern, sophisticated approach to bridal elegance, is partnering with the retailer to offer brides the world of Vera Wang.
Opening in January 2007, the Vera Wang shop in shop will introduce brides to the full assortment of the Vera Wang bridal collection, bridal accessories, maids collection, china, silver, and glassware, giftware and fragrance. The salon features a luminous showroom of chocolate and ivory with gilt-edge mirrors.
“This is an exciting and important initiative for us as we continue to grow our international bridal presence,” said Susan Sokol, President of Vera Wang Apparel Divisions.
With unprecedented passion and dedication, Vera Wang has brought fashion to bridal, capturing the tradition of a bride and the individuality of a woman with each creation. The Vera Wang flagship salon, established in 1990 and located in the Carlyle Hotel on Madison Avenue, remains among the most esteemed and respected bridal salons in the world. Most recently, in July 2006 Vera Wang opened an in-store bridal boutique at Selfridges in London. Additionally, over the last two years, Vera Wang has opened boutiques in Athens, Greece; Dublin, Ireland (Brown Thomas); Seoul, Korea (The Shilla Hotel); Jakarta, Indonesia (The Ritz Carlton Hotel); and Shanghai, China and Singapore, (both at the Shangri-La Hotel).
